Have you ever thought about what’s in your hair and makeup products? I have! That’s why I hold that as a top priority when choosing skincare/haircare to bring to your session.
The Makeup Process
Step 1: Girl, clean your face!
First things first, make sure you have a clean face at the beginning of the day! A good scrub is all you need, whether you have oily skin, dry skin, or normal skin. Another important thing to remember is to NOT exfoliate the day of! Irritated skin is definitely not ideal. When I arrive, first thing we’ll do cleanse your skin and make sure it’s oil-free with micellar water.

Step 2: Skincare
Next, we’ll moisturize and add sunscreen. This is a crucial step in the process and ensures your skin is healthy, glowing, protected, and fresh all day. Your makeup will last longer because of this step as well!
Step 3: Glam time!
After a clean, moisturized, and fully prepped face—it’s time for the fun part, GLAM! Be sure to send me inspo pictures before I arrive.
You’ll leave the chair with a personalized touch up bag, complete with your own personalized colors that we mixed together, spoolies for flyaway eyebrow hairs, and anything else you may need for quick fixes. I’ll also stick around as long as you need to provide touch ups throughout the day!
The Hair styling Process
Step 1: To wash or not wash? That’s the question…
Does your hair hold curl better when it has gone a couple of days without a wash? Do you wash your hair every day? Would it be better to wash it the morning of or night before? You know your hair best. Make sure to have your hair in optimal condition for the style you’re anticipating. Think ahead!

Step 2: Prep
We’ll make sure your hair has heat protection, leave in conditioner, and is completely prepped and ready to go before we start styling. Depending on your hairstyle desired and hair thickness, we’ll adapt as needed!
Step 3: Style!
Now’s the time to make your hair perfect! I’ll spend my time making sure every hair is in place and looks exactly as you imagined. Throughout the day, I’ll be there to offer my assistance and provide touch ups to ensure it stays looking its best for photos.
